Why I'm Never Buying Another Apple Product: Part 1

My, how far I've fallen. If you asked me a few years ago, I would have told you that I was an Apple Fanboy. Now? Not so much. About a week after the iPad was announced, I decided that I wasn't going to purchase any more Apple products. There were several decisions and trends that led up to that decision, and with the announcement of the iPad I finally had enough. And with the recent patent infringement lawsuits against HTC, I'm even more convinced that my decision is justified.

Now just to be clear, I'm not hating on Apple for the sake of hating. I'm currently typing this post on a MacBook Pro. It's a fantastic machine and very reliable. But when time comes for a new laptop, I will be looking elsewhere. So here are the reasons why I will not be buying another Apple product again.
